This is analogous of Thoreau’s claims to being separated from humanity at Walden Pond while being supported wholeheartedly by his family.
While Sartre raised some important questions of the society around him during his lifetime, he does so in a manner that could only be considered the same as a yapping dog who would accept food from a trusted source but would "bite the hand that would feed it" were it too close.
