Time for some IRL blogging related to Ritsu. Let me know if it offends anybody too much and I'll delete the post.
So, I started work at Staples recently as an Easy Tech associate. I always try to hide my power level as much as possible at new work places, because of the stigma generally attached to people who watch anime. My first day there I was in the break room on the computer getting certified and stuff, and some of the guys back there were talking about this one girl who works there who watches anime a lot and talks about it endlessly. I thought to myself "Yeah, that's not the person I want to end up being. I should avoid her."
The next day, I see the girl in question reading Kore wa Zombie desu ka? in the break room. I was tempted to say something because that's much higher power level than I expected - I thought, from their description of her, that she read Naruto and generic shounen shit.
The day after that, though, I see her bring in a bag with My Little Pony stuff on it, and instantly "NOPE" all the way back up. She seems cool enough in my chats with her, but I don't want to take that chance, given what I've heard and seeing that.
Today, though, I'm training on register and she brings a bottle of cola up on her break to buy. Then I see her bring out her cash bag.
Her bag was official Ritsu merchandise, and attached was a Ritsu keychain.
I stand there and think to myself "Oh come on that's not even fair."
I tried to hide my powerlevel, /c/. I really tried. I tried my hardest. But I can't not say anything to that.
I hope you all forgive me for my transgression. :S
