Don't know if my questions are that interesting but I haven't contributed any in a few threads(?).

Try my best to guide them into watching/reading Fate in the order that shows her in the best light, while also giving them the best experience. It's hard to tell people what makes her special without spoiling who she actually is. Especially since it's such common knowledge now. I sometimes just tell people outright what her True Name is and they just scratch their heads. I think it's best to figure it out the original way of playing the VN.

I think some people consider her to be the most common waifu these days, which may be true, and thus there are probably a lot of casual/ironic waifufags for Saber Arturia. Never-the-less, I am a OG VN Saberfag as much as you can get. I fell in love with her in 2008 after reading her VN route and watching the DEEN shitshow.

I've had people say I was a /pol/tard for liking her (muh aryan goddess) even though I fell for her way before I knew anything about politics.

It doesn't bother me too much because she's immensely popular, and I think a lot of people don't like her to be contrarian. Though there might be some legitimate reasons from other Fate waifufags.

I commonly argue that she started the "genderbend" trend in anime and it obviously has become popular even outside of Fate. Before her there weren't many legendary/historical figures in anime that they messed with the genders of. I've been looking for any examples and haven't really found any, but I'm curious to be proven wrong on this.
