Well yeah it's the same for me, i tend to treat it as a dating period and that i actually found her to be my waifu after playing her route, though i guess it can't hurt to say 7 years sometimes but i prefer to to cheat for the sake of numbers. plus i also missed 4 years of anniversaries then ;_;
