>>3727208Well, sure. She's from Touhou, specifically the games Double Dealing Character and Impossible Spell Card. According to her pre and post-battle dialogs, she's a weak youkai (the heroines even comment on how weak she was after they beat her...) who suffered disgrace and humiliation because she lacked power. So she decided, appropriately for her contrary nature as an amanojaku, to overturn Gensokyo and make it into a place where the weak rule over the strong! In order to do that, she found a magical artifact with great power called the Miracle Mallet. But she couldn't use the mallet's power herself, so she recruited the inchling princess Shinmyoumaru Sukuna to use it for her, by feeding her a made-up story about how Gensokyo's inhabitants were responsible for the downfall of the inchlings (they actually ruined themselves by over-relying on the mallet's power.)
Ultimately their rebellion is stopped by the heroines, but Seija manages to escape being captured by them, leading to her being labelled as a rebel, and a reward being put out for her capture. That leads into Impossible Spell Card, where she (as the protagonist!) has to deal with people coming after her for the reward with the help of a bundle of minor magical items. Even her co-conspirator Sukuna turns on her after trying to convince her to give up on her goal, and in the end, even though she avoids being captured, she's all alone. She claims to be fine with it, since amanojaku 'can't really make friends anyway,' but that resignation is such a sad thing.
Admittedly my view of her has likely been tempered a bit by fanworks, doujins and whatnot, but I believe at her core she is a person with good intentions, but ultimately lets her youkai nature get the better of her and goes about trying to accomplish her goals in troublesome ways. Despite that, I really want to be beside her, to help her and support her, even if it was just the two of us against the world.
