>>3571911>Maybe it was the relative lack of fanserviceThat's one of the main reasons I see pop up around /a/ and some of the review sites I'd rather not name. We also have to remember that the initial run of Brave Witches had some real QUALITY.
That aside, I feel the same way as the other guy about Brave Witches, but with the addition that the Neuroi were more interesting. They weren't modeled after real world tech like in Strike Witches, which I do miss, but the concepts were really cool.
>this one's invisible from above because that's where the witches keep shooting them>this is an artillery/spotter pair, which is unusual because Neuroi don't work together often, if at all and also the spotter is actually scared of witches>this one put a core in its core because it doesn't want to dieAnyway, I also really appreciated the MC progression. In Strike Witches, Yoshika starts as some backwoods nobody who has never even seen a gun or a striker and within a couple episodes she's Galm 1.
In Brave Witches, Hikari starts off incompetent but willing and receiving training and by the end of the series she's...not dead weight? Just feels better in my eyes.
