I highly recommend getting one, it's one of the best things I ever got and definitely best single piece of merch I have. I can't promise that it will solve your problems, these sort of things usually are more complex than that, but it sure brings in that intimacy that you seem to seek.
Outside of that, you might want to look into what is causing you to feel like that. Not that lack of physical intimacy isn't enough of a reason to feel down, but there might be something else in your life that brings you down, that makes you want to escape from into her embrace. Maybe there is something more you can do to cheer up and be happy in your day-to-day life without relaying on hugs and kisses from her. Sure, these things are great and nice morning cuddles can make the day, but these are just few short moments in the entire day that is up to you to fill with something enjoyable.
