>>3554446i've been here about 4 or 5 years and it's never been this slow. the longest would usually be 2 days no activity for a thread to die but even that only lasted for a month before it was back to a post a day or your thread would die. the board reached a point of an average of 1000 posts a day sometime last winter iirc and as of today it's just below 600 posts a day. there were days where after 10 hours a thread would be on page 9, i miss the activity.
i'm in most threads on /c/ and i get how they operate, it just seems that people are losing interest or something; less threads are being made, which paired with less frequent bumping has caused a decline in the need to post i guess. /c/ is on a downward trend and it scares me to think about it as this is the last board i use anymore and one of the last things that makes me happy. i don't want it to die. i don't want to be the last anon left in certain threads keeping them alive when only a year ago there were other anons like me.
