The main reason that they end up here is that many scenic pics are not /wg/ quality, and there really is no other place on 4chan that they can be posted other than /cm/, which has had its fair share of scenic threads in the past. Also, the people on these two boards are generally the types who appreciate more beautiful (read: less porn-y) images, and scenic fans can often be found here.
Are those previous threads from /c/ as well, do you know? I only ask because if they're form /cm/ there's a good chance I have them, otherwise probably not.
