Obviously I was a bit surprised when she did finally appear in the show- she was so quiet and reserved that I was kind of taken aback and I didn't really know what to think. She had this really weird vibe about her that I can't even begin to describe.
I liked her anyway- and this sort of thing happened to me all the time, I'd watch a series, get pulled in by one character and watch it for them, I just wouldn't always end up properly falling for them or anything.
I kept watching, and episode 6 came along, she smiled and that was the moment when I went from 'I like this Rei girl, she's a bit quirky but she's kind of cute' to 'oh my fucking god I'm in love'.
