Most Neptunia games are what I would consider JRPGs. The first game (Neptunia) had a battle system that was extremely annoying but the characters and story were so wonderful that I kept playing. MkII thankfully overhauled the battle system and was superior in almost every way. Victory then went even further with improving the gameplay but messed up a bit with the scouting system. Thankfully Megadimension took everything Victory did right and improved the scouting system.
Then you have Megadevotion Noire which is more of a tactical RPG since you have action squares to move around in. I don't usually like these types of games (except Disgaea because its... well... Disgaea) but I still found it fun and would recommend it.
I haven't played any of the remakes, but from what I hear they are supposedly better. Since the first games' battle system was so horrid I would stress to definitely play that remake instead.
I have not gotten a chance to play 4 Goddesses Online yet so I have no idea about that one.
Oh and stay FAR away from the action U and zombie game... they are so terrible they aren't even worth playing.
