I saw the page before I read the rest of the chapter. The first thing I thought was, it was established that Regu's incinerator can rewrite the rules of the Abyss. When I read the chapter, I saw this was specifically mentioned again a few pages before. If Tsukushi brought it up only to end up going with a "yeah, no, but he's not going to use it, the bun is dead :)" it would be extremely dickish of him. I want to believe that everything will turn out fine.
