>>2239534I like old kaworu, but I oddly enough I see them more like siblings, they were both basically gods in human form that sacrificed themselves for humanity and had it hard for Ikari (it's almost like a family trait). But who knows other times I think they could have been lovers in their former Lilith/Adam selves (it would make the names even more meaningful) and it's why they ended up in the same planet when they what the whole universe to land.
