>>2499569I never touched on that subject, my bad. The other world may be somewhat dictated by the real world, but events in the other world are radically different than what happens in the real world. A simple example I'm going to use is Mary. Mary in the real world is Kagari's doll. Mary in the other world is Chariot's tank, which bears some resemblance to Kagari's doll.
>b-but they do sound coolI don't think that the real world people could have given their other selves their names when I consider how unaware both worlds are of each other.
The name Strength paired with Yuu makes me think that that name was chosen because Yuu must be strong because her life is extremely harsh compared to a normal person. Strength's enormous arms combined with her name speak for themselves. My best guess for Chariot is because she has wheels for feet and has a partially wheeled vehicle, similar to horse-drawn chariots. This combined with her crown and gladiator-looking sword and overall gold coloring makes me think of some kind of ancient Roman royalty, which would be fitting for Kagari's stuck-up personality, which she keeps to some extent even after Chariot is defeated.
>>2485067I'm the same person who made this post, I think that Kagari/Chariot is an 11/10 villain, and they are my favorite characters in BRS. Unfortunately for me the light that burns twice as bright burns half as long.
This is where the names get more difficult to interpret, at least for me. Dead Master's intimidating name and the intimidating environment she resides in after being freed from Chariot don't seem to connect with Yomi's introverted personality. My best guess is that Yomi has many dark, unpleasant thoughts during Saya's harassment and Dead Master and her "home" are meant to reflect this. But this statement would only make sense when coupled with her environment in the other world, not when coupled with her name. Dead Master was clearly around before Yomi was hounded by Saya.
