First time posting here (I'm from /u/), I just stumbled into this thread and I'm quite surprised by how polite people are here.

However, I felt like you were showing off a bit but I don't know you enough to say if it was on purpose or not (I think also Chinese speakers have their shares of accents and intonations, no?) and the point about cases/declensions was a bit off-topic?
I personally don't think it was that horrible but well. Don't feel too bad.
