>>3292811I might be somewhat upset about Rebuild being what it is if it impacted the actual series in any way, but it doesn't. NGE is a completed work as of 21 years ago, so I really can't care enough to hate anything about Rebuild, at worst I would simply ignore it.
I like Shikinami fine as a more "stable" version of Asuka that fits better in the films she's in and I like 2.0 in general. "Badass eyepatch" Asuka is also a superficially cool concept and design and I enjoy it on that level.
Soryu is one of my favorite fictional characters of all time, but if these threads/fanart in general were always focused on her and what makes her memorable they'd be kinda fuckin depressing
