That was their only real significant interaction too, so the fact of those people have to come up with ridiculous headcanons like them having great chemistry and being super cute together pisses me off. I think the side character in question has had much better moments after that and I actually like him now, but that ship shows how those people don't respect either of the characters at all. It highlights the side characters worst moment and puts Ochako in a borderline abusive relationship. The shippers who ship the mc and her together at least understand and like both characters but it's still kind of annoying to see. Theres also the fact that the threads for her series are mostly shitposting and the same people saying that its shit, but I should expect that for a thread about a shounen manga. And her series is pretty much just popcorn entertainment not meant to be dissected, so I don't care about discussing anyway.
