while slowing down in total posting, threads still reach page 9/10 pretty quickly. there is a solid difference between keeping a thread alive and keeping a thread active - many people create a thread, post 5 images, and then bump once a day just to make sure the thread doesn't die. rarely will you find people actually trying to keep their thread active by posting more that 1 image a day - these people generally don't seem to care for the board and wait for someone else to come along to post more.
there have been more threads recently which have reached the 100 day mark due to the op or someone else posting once a day despite no one else showing interest in the thread - it's not about having an active thread to them, it's more about just having the thread alive.
