I would say that you grew aware of this regarding yourself is already a good win, isn't it?
From there perhaps see if there wouldn't be other ways to go about extroverting "these things" in a way you won't regret anymore. Perhaps via journaling, or creatively in a way or another, and connect it somewhere... just like you're doing right now with me.
