>>3334495Well, Lat's world is very similar to ours, except in hers there were a couple of nasty meteor impacts a few years ago (from our perspective, not hers - I learned about a week ago that her source is actually set in the early 2200s, thanks to a guy on SRW X's translation team writing up a summary of the OG games! I can link it if anyone's interested) that regressed information technology by a few decades, and things developed from there. I have an interest in super robots so I'd definitely get on well with some of her colleagues
