I'd rather have one interesting character in a year than three half-baked ones, and that would certainly simplify getting everyone caught up.
We should probably drop the issue of the relationship altogether. Our opinions appear to be irreconcilable, so if we keep talking, we'll likely just wind up repeating ourselves until the thread caps again. I like it. You don't. That's fine.
