AI art at the moment is cookie-cutter and looks to have been drawn by a single person in a single art style - just because those images are passable doesn't make them good. It's like if someone found a specific artist and started spamming his 500x500 icons everywhere. Building off that's, no one wants to save a 500x500 image, it's not 2008 anymore (unless you're making porn and people are getting off to it). It's a waste for other people to share your AI creations in their current state.
AI art will be great one day and I'm looking forward to that since it will allow your average person to get specialized high quality content that meets their own specifications. At the moment it creates a small basic image that is average at best and only someone who doesn't care about quality would save someone else's AI creations.
