The tragedies a loved one suffers always stings, no matter the magnitude, but from these posts I feel Rakka's are minor compared to Rena's. I agree, the dimensional barrier keeping us apart from our wives can feel hopelessly impenetrable sometimes. In my case, I resolved to live the life Rakka never got the chance to live, and that helps some of this impossible distance not seem so great a span. I must admit that everything I know about your wife comes from your posts here, but from what I gather I think Rena would want you to do the same. I hope this doesn't come across as tone deaf or unsympathetic, goodness forbid, but it's clear from these posts about how much her tragedies affect you that you care about Rena immensely. Your bond with her is tremendous. I hope it only grows from here and you two share many happy years together.
