I don't think they define her as much as the end of that second chapter where she proves her courage and her special chapter do, though. Her best moments are the ones where she gathers her resolve to stand up for herself and others in those chapters, and her working up the courage to ask the others if she can live with them in chapter 82. That said, there are many who only look at the "fanservice" in those first two chapters and refuse to even acknowledge her as a character due to it, insulting her and the entire manga for the issues she struggles with while not even bothering to remember her name. Pisses me off something fierce it does.
