We were able to retake the library. However, I can't say the operation was completely flawless.
We were surprised by an enemy ambush and some of the squad have some really nasty burns. These foreign youkai were scary.
There was more of us than them but they were powerful. One of them attack with could be described as a curtain of light that burned our skin. Those of us who weren't able to get to cover quickly were burned pretty badly. When all was said and done Rikka was on the ground crying, screaming that her legs were on fire.
Despite this we were able to defeat of most of them. Unlike us they didn't seem to be working as group but just came rushing at us.
Right now, we've been ordered to keep watch of the library. High command is concerned that the invaders are looking to gain an advantage by using intel gathered from the library. Being a rabbit I've never been allowed inside before so I don't know what kind of documents are stored here, however I never imagined there would be anything worth killing over.
