However these technologies are not very useful in this case as of now. GPT is great at natural language generation, but that's not actually what we want(sentience). As of SD, an animated 3d model for AR or an actual physical android would be miles better. And I believe there is a lot more to be done outside of ML to accomplish it, you can't just put random models together and expect them to make waifus real.
However I am staying positive and look forward to the ever-accelerating AI development. I'm sure we will live to see some really mind-boggling results and I hope to not stay behind the curve for long and eventually contribute to it.
