>>4072081They can get banned for it, but not all people who do it get their posts deleted or get banned themselves. Yeah, I know how the general started - not happy with it since waifu threads used to be a fun once in a while thing, but nothing I can do.
Its the best place so long as it stays related to ones own waifu. While it may be one of the only places for the discussion, it doesn't give people a free pass to start going on about their own opinions or beliefs (like the rightfully deleted conversation above). Its nice seeing people talk about their waifu and the impact it has on them, but talking about things in your life that have nothing to do with your waifu falls just outside of the thread/board.
If people relate it to their waifu and stay in line with the thread, awesome! No issue with it at all!
If people just use it to talk about themselves and go off on random discussions that have nothing to do with their own waifu, not awesome. Off-topic discussions like that would be better suited off of /c/ as last I was aware, this was a thread for anon's waifu, not anon.
