Irrespective of whether or not she would like to read an extensive analysis of the classical world from Homer to Hadrian, she would power through and finish it quickly. She would be able to finish rapidly with or without me, but I would find motivation in reading it with her and - I would like to think - she would, too, with me.

I had never considered it before, but she literally does develop quasi-romantic feelings for a fictional character. Admittedly, he turns out to be a malevolent entity who uses her to escape his textual chains, but it's the only character she, in the series, was canonically romantically inclined towards. How interesting.
>songWhile I have an entire playlist solely composed of love songs, I often find that I'm reminded of her in the strangest melodies. The lyrics of these songs are typically romantic, but they clearly emanate melancholy and other strong, emotionally charged feelings. The most interesting one, however, that reminds me of her is some obscure remix The Music Sounds Better With You. The oddity in this lies in the fact that I neither particularly like the genre, the artist, or the song. There are, of course, many other songs that warm my soul just as the radiant rays of the spring sun warm winter's frost and snow and reveal the rich earth hidden beneath, but I'll not list them for the sake of space.
