Well it is cute, it is lovely indeed.
But that was very naive, silly and very un-Rei like.
If you try and view Pokanami without protecting Ayanami Rei on her she is just a naive cute little girl. Lovely indeed but very pathetic and weak compared to her former self.
BTW did you read manga?
It had some very great Rei emotional and lovely development.
Except the latest book got delayed and when it came back it was just a train wreck and everything was awful.
I recommend reading manga until you first see Kaworu.
Right when Kaworu appears it all goes down the drain.
So you go like
