>>3657263>But your King is a reincarnation of a dead man, but with a female body, correct?I'm afraid not. The idea is that in the Nasuverse King Arthur was actually a girl, history and the legends just got it wrong. She was raised as a boy and trained to become a knight. King Uther Pendragon, her father, wanted Merlin to create the perfect King with the use of magic and the blood of a dragon. This baby just so happened to be female, and the King at the time was worried that she would be rejected by her people and looked for other ways. But Merlin knew it did not matter what gender the King would be, they'd be destined for greatness regardless.
Keep in mind that King Arthur was not a real person and there have been half a dozen people throughout history that the legend could have been based on. It's just another version of the legend imo
>She retains his personality, but none of his memories, correct? Her personality and memories were all her own. She was raised to be the King of Knights the whole way down. She had to lie about her gender in order to better lead and rule her people.
>how do you feel about the actual man? Both she and the idea of Arthur, who is weirdly also a canon character in Fate (don't ask me how that works), were fools who thought they could be the perfect King. Noble fools, but fools none the less.
>would you say that you love him?No, but I'd admire them like I always have. I read versions of the legend growing up and have liked the idea. That admiration just so happened to turn into romantic love.
I would never suspect you of harassing me and My King, sheikfriend. I respect you and thank you for your curiosity. You are force of nature when it comes to your Sheik and I admire that.
