Last time I felt like drawing cubes and cillinders on paper as an excersize I found out that I don't even have an erazer.
1 tablet is where I want to get. My target is digital art. So i'm both learning to draw and learning to use tablet in the same time, the second is nowhere easy, the lines just won't go where i want them to.
2 stuff is much handier, no erazer dust, no piles of paper, no sharpening pensils, no spending money
So I use tablet even for figures and excersize.
BTW after I got a bit used to low friction that tablet has I got a way better control of an actual pen
