I think it would be really concerning for me if she started taking on a human form regularly, especially if it meant she would project this idea that I would like her more as a human than I would if she were just a lamia. Miia has dealt with a very humiliating situation in the past where people gawked at her and laughed at her simply because of her non-human form, and I'd feel really bad if it made her feel that way.
