>>4264188>brief cut to JSSDF generals (those guys from ep.1 and jet alone), hear report that their teams found the reminds of commander Ikari, then see screen of Lilith's wings rising up from the geofront>hear radio chatter from NERV as Lilith rises from TD, panic and chaos as its acention destroys VTOLs in flight, destroys layers of NERV, ect, can hear audio of Maya saying that the readings are identical to 2I>their supeirors (SEELE) unresponsive, order a full retreat from NERV>cut back to Rei, Unit-00 unresponsive in the middle of TD, as it now has no soul>Rei sees one last vision of Rei I as the ejection pod fires, lands in the forest outside NERV>cut back to Asuka, exiting her pod, can hear Shinji over the plug's communication's system >Asuka confused, asks where he is and what happened>he responds by saying he ejected, but couldn't remember telling the Eva to do so>voice audibly strained, Asuka interupts him thanking her for her help by (affectionatly) calling him an idiot and asking where he is, starts heading towards him>Shinji looks down at his bandaged wound, sees blood coming out of it as the plug is drained of LCL>Cut to Misato again running around like a madwoman looking for Shinji>ambushing retreating JSSDF, hiding from VTOLs, ect>eventually finds a NERV VTOL picking up survivors, gets in only to point a gun at the pilot and demand they look for the pilots>Shinji gathers the strenght to open his pod, covers his eyes as the sunlight hits his face only to see a VTOL come into view>thinks his finished for a second, it lands as Misato comes out, hugging Shinji>last scene is the two of them stepping out to a base camp of regrouped survivors, sees CD bridge crew, Fuyutski, Ritsuko>Finally sees Asuka and Rei, three of them embrace as the last shotand that's all I got. It was fun story, anon, writing and reading these before and after work genuinely made my week.
