>>4266158>There was also that Eva game, "Neon Genesis Evangelion(s)" where there's some sort of player condition in regards to the events of ep. 24 (Shinji convinces Kaworu to live instead of be killed by him in unit 01) where if met Kaworu actually retrieves Unit 04 from the Dirac Sea & becomes it's pilot. So I can see that being used in some sort of fashion for alt scenarios as wellhuh, didnt know about that. Unit-04's design is reminiscent of the MP Evas in its design so i suppose it makes sense that Kaworu would get to use it. In the scenario described above where all of the class other potential candidates get Evas around the same time you'd still have two left to go (Horaki and Kensuke) though.

Would be pretty neat to see people change the order of the angels sorta like what the Rebuild did with Clock-iel during Asuka's introductionIn the story posted it seems like the idea would be to start off as a comfy mech fight show with two Eva teams and then gradually put them through the wringer, so it only makes sense for different angels to get swapped around just the same. Ive always thought the three angles that assaulted the pilot's minds (Leliel, Arael and armisael) to be the most interesting and harrowing angels seen due to their role in shattering the character's mental states, so I think it would make sense for these three to have their roles expanded upon and placed as the biggest foes for the pilots to face after theve been put through hell and back like the above posts described.
