Those are the "safe" characters.
The Rei-fans however are far too disappointed by everything to really care, and so Rei Q exists but could as well just not exist.
IMO Rei Q should never have been made. It's too destructive for a character like Rei that shoulders large expectations due to being over-exposed as the covergirl for some time, and due to the expectations to live up to NGE Rei.
