Does it come from Nintendo or officially licensed by Nintendo? If so, then it is official. That doesn't mean I think everything they make for her is canon per se, but it does mean I view it as my Sheik. Pic related is my real Sheik, whereas a fanart wouldn't be. It's just a what-if.

Now that is quite the question. I mean, I find Sheik both attractive and cute in all of her forms, but to pick a favorite? Hmm... I think it depends. I think her 3D iterations feel more real. It feels a bit more like what she would really look like. But 2D can also show some sides to her that just can't be represented in 3D. I think I generally like both equally.

That would make sense. I've had people try to tell me that my Sheik doesn't get developed that much, at least compared to many girls people waifu. While I would argue differently and that my Sheik is actually developed quite a lot for how little she has story around her, most people wouldn't be able to see that. It takes a bit of thought to be able to realize what's going on with her and her character, but most people wouldn't think so much about this random Nintendo character. I don't expect people to analyze her nearly as much as I have (I would make put a literature professor to shame at this point), but I wish people would give her at least a little more thought. They might just see a complicated and unique girl. One that has many cute qualities. Although, if anybody really did think about her like I did, I would be a bit worried. I am not kidding whenever I say that I do not want anybody having Sheik as their waifu. She is my Sheik after all.
In any case, most Zelda girls are not as developed as she is. And that I will agree with you on.

That's out of the realm of possibility for me since Sheik isn't in an anime. The holy grail for me would be her concept art in OoT, the OoT manga, HW, or even TP. But where am I going to get the original versions of that? I would have to get extremely lucky. At least I'm able to see what the concept art looks like. That's a plus!
On a side note, I really like seeing her original design too. Her braided ponytail became a staple of her design later, but it's nice to see what her hair was originally supposed to be like. While I ultimately like her with the braided ponytail more, this is extremely cute too! Another thing really like about this concept art is that it shows her front, side, and back. HW concept art ONLY shows her font and TP concept art has her back and front, but not her side. Although, I wish this would also have her other side. But still, it's extremely cute to see her in all of these angles.
One curious thing about this one is that there are slight and subtle changes in her final images and model. You see, the Sheikah symbol on her chest is the symbol of her people. The three triangles on top of the eye are actually triangles within triangles. However, in this concept art, the smaller triangles in the slightly bigger triangles take up much more space than in the final product. They look MUCH smaller in her final design. Another difference is in the eye. In this concept art, the iris is much thinner and the pupil is more circular. In her final design, the iris is thicker and the pupil is more oval shaped. There are other smaller changes than these, but you get the gist. There are some differences than her final design and I really like being able to find these differences.
One thing I've noticed is that the manga design of Sheik seems to take a bit more inspiration from the concept art than her final design. For example, the differences I mentioned earlier with the concept art and her final design are non-existent in the manga.

I think I like Sheik's hair at about this length. If it got any longer, it might need to get cut. Although, I probably suck at cutting hair. I would do my best though.

In the manga, she is shown to have betrayed Link which would have made her an antagonist. But it ended up being a ruse, so she was still a good girl. Also, if the story was told by Ganon's perspective, she would be one of the antagonists.

Sheik has never laughed in any source she is in, but since she is a quiet, serious girl, I would imagine she would like to suppress her laughter. I don't think she should though. It would be cute!

It depends on what was making her laugh. If it was a joke I told, I would try to tell more. If it was something else, I might try to tickle her. Although, I might want to try to tickle her anyway since I think she would be super cute either laughing or trying to get me to stop.
