>>2200964>>2200963>>2200948im not completely sober right now so i'll just ramble for a bit
in my experience habitually smoking weed will kill your dreams very fast, but stopping for even a couple of days will cause you to dream extra vividly. i had a phase a while ago where i smoked weed every day for a few weeks and when i stopped, i had a series of ultra-vivid technicolor dreams (sometimes multiple in the same night) that i could remember very clearly in the morning. i can't really comment on the frequency of 2D world visits because it really was random but i remember dreaming being next to rei ayanami on a bus w/ the entire eva cast, and then we ran over an N2 mine and i woke up in a cold sweat. the rest of the dreams were comparatively pleasant, albeit a little unnervingly realistic.
klonopin (or other generic clonazepam) when taken for even a few days at doses as low as 0.5mg before sleep can induce visual-heavy dreams. because of its amnestic properties, though, i've always found it a little harder to remember klonopin-induced dreams than the regular kind. also some of my dreams tended to be a little on the abstract side, i.e floating letters and colors and shifting visuals while on this drug. i take it from time to time for my anxiety and the enhanced dreaming is one of the first things i notice, though long-term use can fuck up your sleep architecture and REM sleep until you wean off the drug again, so stick to a couple days at a time.
