Did Satou and Misaki have a sexual relationship in the manga? There's that panel where they're in bed together, but it never made sense to me because on Misaki's list of "things to do as a couple", kissing is right above suicide, which Satou initially believed was sex.
They never even kissed, so that development never felt genuine or even possible. I like to think it was their way of imitating a relationship, and having no idea what to do, so they just simulated it, like when Misaki wants Satou to carry her because eventually they might fall in love by being close together.
