One side would probably think Miia is out of the ordinary but try all the same to become more accustomed to her until they do truly accept her. It would take a long time for me to open up about the idea to anyone about it if we continued to live in a world where monstergirls don't exist as commonly as humans do.
I don't feel pressured to elope in order to marry her though, if they don't like her, they can begin to admire her from a distance and we'll work it out until they do.
