>>1769394The point of it is, if you let the single pic requesters go on with what they're doing, pretty soon that's all you see when they decide to flood the board with single-pic request threads, killing off the whole board. When /hc/ was last nuked (they recently brought /hc/ back over the weekend), the cause was too many request threads where the OPs only posted one pic and left, as well as spam threads.
So, from experience, single-pic /r/ threads can kill boards on 4chan.
