>>1787506Haha oh WOW. Took me a minute, but I figured out what's going on here. Eilia begins a defensive climbing spiral, and Luuchini cuts inside her turn. At the top, Eilia uses a "lag displacement roll," a barrel roll used to offset your path with a bandit - in this case, Eila ends up above and to the LEFT of Luuchini, instead of above and directly in front, where Luuchini had expected her to be. (This is speculation, since it doesn't show any twisty things in the path ribbons to indicate it, but otherwise it literally looks like a textbook employment.) Eila has equal or better climb performance, so they stall out at about the same time and fall towards earth - effectively reversing the leader/follower positions. Luuchini tries to disengage, but since she doesn't do any fancy tricks, Eila socks into her tail no problem. (The end of this diagram is what would've happened to Eila, had she not used the roll.)
