How large is your collection?

Though my folder isn't really big I'm will to upload some folders. hopefully other's are the same way.

Damn, this makes mine look pathetic.
Most of my files come from /c/, so it tends to be easier to sort by subject. "Series" and "Characters" have a bunch of sub-folders as well.

In order of containing folders:

1. Anime Pictures
2. Wallpapers/Girls/Guys
3. Show
4. Character Name/"Group"
5. Depending on the character, organized into folders depending on clothes, armor, crossover, seasons of the year, etc. (For example, Saber get's a separate folder for all her forms, and some characters have a specific Halloween folder if they have enough pictures).

I just got a new computer and after transferring everything over, I feel like I have an overwhelming amount of unorganized pictures. Do you all just drop them into folders or do you use windows to add tags to your pics as well?

I'd love to tag my pictures with all the conditions seen in the pic (like happy, blue hair, beach, etc) but it just seems to be too daunting a task!

You may be interested in trying the Hydrus program. It lets you tag images and also search by tags, kinda like a *booru, but run locally. It has been assisting me in posting to the Shana thread.

When I save things to folders, I try to group them as I download. If from 4chan, I usually group it by series/character, or some general category like "catgirls" depending on the thread. If from a booru, it's usually by artist. I don't really suggest piling all your images in the same folder and hoping you'll sort them later. At least in my case, it never works out.

I organize my folder by series, then I add sub-folders for the characters.

Looks like I have the least impressive collection so far.

I don't give a character a folder unless I've got a bunch of pics of her. I also have a need to name pretty much every file I find so I can locate it easily, even if the name is retarded as fuck.

I'm not being very anonymous by posting this.

Well, you guys make me feel like pathetic with my 400mb folder, I don't really have a /c/ folder, per say, just anime pictures in general, I have arranged by show, things I don't know what they're from, or crossovers go in "random".

VisiPics (dupe finder)
WinDirStat (Folder/file list builder, with block charts)

Aaaand, here's mine. "Sorted Images" at one point in time, it is not anymore, sadly.
Mostly /e/ content, stuff from other boards, and some manga.
