What do you mean by /c/ going downhill?
It's different, I give you that, there's no Kimmo's fancy spam, desu is getting forgotten and posters changed, but downhill? We still don't accept cartoon and most importantly, people are enjoying themselves within the rules. Some common courtesy are broken, but that's that. If you think /c/ in 2003 was infinitely better, then do tell.
The "/a/ invades /c/"-thing makes no sense. Interest collides, that's about it. Not particularly fond of /a/ in general, but folks here who seem to also visit /a/ behave. Those folks might also be the ones who contribute to threads you like, so that's actually a good thing.
