When I first started watching K-On, I thought she was kind of a bitch and a jerk because of how much she made fun of Mio. Like everybodyfuckingelse who watches K-On, I liked Mio at first because of the shy moe and how overly sexualized she was. However, as the shy moe wore off after a month or two and I realize Mio was kind of just a stuck up bitch, I found myself liking Ritsu more and more.
Yeah she pulls pranks and practical jokes all the time, but it's only because she wants to bring laughs and happiness into everybody's life. She can be a bit insensitive to what might or might not actually hurt somebody at times, but she has good intentions.
