This is especially true for something supported by your neck, which is one of the most disproportionately strong muscle-systems in the human body.
A severed human head weighs more than a bowling ball of the same size if you were to hold it in your hands, but you never realize this in regards to your own body because your neck is so incredibly strong that it can hold that weight in an upright position in perpetuity and never even get tired throughout the day, with things like your legs getting tired WAY more quickly just from supporting your own body's weight.
So no, even super-ultra long hair wouldn't be heavy enough to be a problem.
Yet another reason I'm adding to a list of reasons why more women should have wait, knee and ankle-length hair.
