I wish she would reappear at some point, and that's one of the reasons I loved Majora's Mask so much, because they referenced LA with a song by the Indigo's with the Ballad of the Wind Fish, even though it wasn't the one Marin sings.
Also, if you've only just played it, be sure to play a game without dying. It alters the ending, and you get to see something a bit extra. It's not much, but it's a lot less depressing. :)
