In retrospect I am fairly amazed with the character design changes for the anime. The anime changed the look of only two girls really, Akira and Sora. Sora they changed somewhat, putting her more on the side of sexy rather than cute like in the VN, yet they did this without even noticeably expanding her bust size, they just seemed to give her more curves in general, but even then I have difficulty putting my finger on what they changed. Perhaps they didn't change anything at all and it is simply the animation and the more muted color tone the anime used that makes Sora seem even more feminine and sexy than she does in the VN.
Akira on the other hand they changed ALOT. In the VN Akira's body is very childlike, even more so than Sora, yet in the anime she has a body type much closer to Kozue's with the same size (looks like it anyway) bust and everything.
Odd isn't it? They did very minor changes to Sora, but they changed Akira drastically.
