The picture that OP has - The top right image where Erwin looks exasperated and dirty - the man Erwin Rommel, were he in that situation, with his face dirtied like that and his uniform warn, would wear the same confident, happy smile that he had always worn.
And he would never wear an arrogant or sadistic look such as those in the left side of the picture.
that said I feel as if I have wasted a lot of time here saying these things...and for the record I think the character of Erwin is cute...because she makes me think of a young girl who admires Erwin Rommel but who does not fully understand him/is not as mature as he.
