The first season wasn't god awful, more of an Ok accompaniment to the VN. The second season however is rushing over a lot of parts We've already gone though kurugayas route (roughly as long as kudos 4 ep route in 3) then smashed rin1 into another 3 episodes (rins route was abit longer than Kud's around 5-6 eps would have been cuttign it short but fair) and then we have refrain, the size of roughly routes in one, taking up 4-5 episodes, it's larger than the Clannad:AS arc which took 14 episodes to fully cover, i could understand some cut down but this is extremely rushed to what it could have and should have been. It's really a shame VA pressured Key to settle for JC Staff instead of waiting for one of the other studios that had interest in doing it when their plate wasn't full, it may have taken longer but a better job would have been worth it. If you're really thinking that this season is great you should finish the VN properly it's storytelling is far superior to what you're watching and you're missing out on a lot of content with the anime.
