>>2147894It had the opposite effect on me. It was better than I expected it to be, but I had already basically experienced Emi's route IRL with someone before I even knew what KS was. It made going through a fictionalized version of that kind of relationship lose a lot of impact for me.
Lilly's route on the other hand had me crying pretty hard. A lot of the dialogue in the 4th act is really cheesy, but the theme of needing to be open about your problems with your partner and be there for them emotionally just resonated with me a lot more than the themes of any of the other girls' routes.
